The Always Snack
If I haven't mentioned it before (and I think I haven't), I've been remiss: I have a hummus-based snack on a regular basis when I can't think of anything else to eat (and my food aphasia is a post for another day). It's very tasty, and I recommend it to everyone (except the Sherbs, who strongly dislikes tomatoes):
Usually I slice red onion to go on that. I may even sprinkle lemon juice on top.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Baghaii - onion makes things better. And I've been known to make a humus sandwich (open or not) with mixed greens and onions. And on a good challah bread or whole wheat, it's splendiforous
